When it comes to mobile phones, the debate regarding the superiority at the iOS vs. Android front is unending.
In fact, its stronger now more than ever because Android is really beginning to take over the market while Apple has been recording a downward trend as far as their sales are concerned. Regardless of that, there are i-sheep who simply MUST buy an iPhone.
This write up is for all diehard Android fans like me.

Android has many areas where it scores heavily over its rival, Apple.
Bigger Screen
I love to read eBooks and various online newspapers while I am on the run. Not only that, I enjoy watching videos and playing games on a large 4.3 inch screen my Android device allows me.
Sony and Samsung are both offering larger screens to their customers while Apple is not willing to cross the 4 inch barrier it seems to have laid down for itself.
Apple’s iPhone is still going at it with a 4-inch screen. This continues to be my first and foremost reason for not buying an iPhone.
Near Field Communication
Surprisingly, the iPhone doesn’t offer NFC support. Which is weird.
NFC allows a user to pass on information to a terminal by bringing the device (in this case a phone) close to it. Payments and other activities can be done just by touching your phone to an appropriate terminal. Anyone who has paid for making online purchases like this knows how cool it is.
Personalize Your Screens
The iPhone has a pretty iconic home screen, with all of the apps lined up in rows and what not! But, users love to customize their things.
It makes it seem more personal. Besides, everyone has a different set of needs and it is but natural to want to personalize your device according to your requirements after having paid through your nose to buy it!
Personalizing a home screen is another thing that Android phones do that Apple doesn’t.
USB Port
USB is the most popular connector. Android phones have them while iPhones don’t.
Period.
You may be familiar with the iPhones proprietary dock connector and how limiting it can be without the right hardware around. Whether its charging or just connecting to devices, USB rules and iPhone not having it is a head-scratcher.
Different Keyboards
Going back to customization, Android users enjoy various keyboarding layouts via third-party apps.
The keyboard of a phone is pretty important to people as they will be using it for messaging, but with Apple what you see is what you get.
File Attachments
Yup, when it comes to attaching files onto your email the iPhone is extremely limited.
While Android can essentially attach anything that contains data, the iPhone is stuck sending only images and video.
Share Menus
Android comes with a share feature that allows you to select from a list of all of your installed apps to share to.
The iPhone has loads of different share menus from the different apps that makes caring hard.
File System
Another basic handicap with Apple in the customization belt is the ability to view and configure the file system of Android on a desktop computer.
Apple’s more closed operating system only allows you to look into the digital images photo. Android scores yet another point here.
Vibrating Indications
A subtle but nice thing to have is the ability to receive a vibrating response whenever you tap a key, so that you know that you tapped it.
The iPhone does not have this feature at all.
Pen
Styluses are cool looking and prevent smudging on your screen.
Lots of Android based handsets offer support with digital pens while iPhone does not.
Conclusion
Trying to decide between iPhone and Android is not an easy decision as there are a variety of reasons to side with either.
I am sure Apple lovers have their own reasons for loving their favorite brand.
